Can I do a wine tasting at the Resort? What is on offer and at what time?
We recommend that all guests of the Resort experience a Braida wine tasting accompanied by a sommelier, who will tell you stories of life at Braida and all about the estate’s wines, and will offer you a rich platter of cured meats and cheeses. Booking is required. We hold tastings at the following times: 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. / 2 – 6 p.m.
Can I buy your wines at the Resort?
Yes, you can. You will find our wine shop at the Resort, where you can buy our wines and grappa in gift boxes. We can have the wines shipped to your home anywhere in the world: shipping rates vary depending on the destination and number of bottles purchased; we are able to give you the exact courier quote and approximate delivery times on the spot.
Do you organise special events?
Yes, we organise birthday parties, graduation parties, stag or hen parties, christenings, first holy communions, weddings, corporate events, anniversaries, and silver and golden weddings on request. Let us know what you require. We will be happy to organise a tailor-made event for you and make your special occasion truly unforgettable.
Do you organise tours and excursions?
Yes. We can organise truffle hunts, tasting experiences, guided tours of the towns of Asti and Alba (we advise you to enquire at the time of booking to be sure of the guide’s availability), guided and unguided e-bike tours with rented e-bikes that will be delivered directly to the Resort.
Where is the Resort?
The Resort is on the hillside of Asinara, a hamlet of the municipality of Rocchetta Tanaro; it is possible to walk to the centre of the village of Rocchetta Tanaro, which is about 3 kilometres away.

Can I organise a transfer service to/from the airport or station?
For a fee, the Braida Wine Resort can organise a transfer service to and from the airport or Asti railway station, with private transfers by taxi or minibus, depending on the number of people. Costs vary based on distance, number of people and time of day (day or night).
Airport: which is the nearest airport?
The nearest airport is Turin Caselle Airport, which is 101 kilometres away, while Milan Linate Airport is 133 kilometres away and Milan Malpensa Airport is 146 kilometres away.
Which is the nearest motorway exit to the Resort?
To reach the Resort by car, from Milan, Brescia or Genoa the nearest exit is Felizzano, then take the SS10 towards Asti and turn left onto SP27 towards Rocchetta Tanaro.

What services are included in the booking?
At the Braida Wine Resort you will enjoy a unique experience surrounded by the charm of the Monferrato area. Your booking includes a rich sweet and savoury breakfast, a bottle of water in your room, a 375 ml bottle of La Monella Barbera del Monferrato DOC Braida with glass goblets, a packet of Grissini or “Il Paneté” mini “lingue di suocera” by Mario Fongo, Braida slippers and courtesy toiletries by Celeste Zagara. The rooms are all equipped with hairdryers.
Is there a minimum stay?
For Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights there is a minimum stay of two nights.
From Monday to Thursday it is also possible to stay for one night only.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free of charge up to seven days before the date of arrival.
The cost of the entire stay will be charged if the cancellation is made from the sixth day before arrival or in case of a no-show.

What sports can I play in near the Resort?
There is a padel court (reservation required) 3 kilometres from the Resort.
Margara Golf Course is 16 kilometres away.

It is possible to run and walk all over the surrounding area, on surfaced roads or along the paths that run through the 120 hectares of the Rocchetta Tanaro Nature Park;

No, the Braida Wine Resort does not have a restaurant.

There are excellent restaurants: trattorias, traditional and Michelin-starred restaurants, wine bars, etc. three kilometres away in the village, and in other locations within the range of just a few kilometres.
We can recommend the one that best suits your needs and reserve a table for you.
Can I enjoy gastronomic experiences at the Resort?
All our wine tasting are accompanied by a rich platter of cured meats and artisan cheeses from the local area. Hand-rolled breadsticks, crispy focaccia and water. It is also possible to enjoy a snack in the vineyard from Wednesday to Sunday, making reservations at least 48 hours in advance.
Does the Resort have a Wellness Centre / SPA?
No, the Resort does not have a SPA.
Is it possible to bring pets?
Pets are allowed in the Resort during tastings but are not allowed for overnight stays.
Is there a refreshment area at the Resort?
Yes, there is a refreshment area with snacks at the Resort: you can order bottles of wine, water, soft drinks and snacks to be consumed on the terrace, in the tasting room or in your room during the day and in the evening, and charge them to your room.
Can I have a double room with separate beds?
Yes, all rooms except Limonte can be prepared with twin single beds: the request must be made at the time of booking.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Outside these hours there is a common area where snacks and coffee are available.
Do you have gluten-free bread and biscuits for breakfast for sufferers of coeliac disease or wheat allergies?
Yes, and we would ask you to inform us of any other intolerances or allergies at the time of booking.
