Experience Details:
- When We Fly: Every day, weather permitting. In summer, flights take place at sunrise, while in winter and mid-seasons, morning and afternoon flights are available.
- Flight Duration: The total experience lasts about 3 hours, including balloon inflation, pilot briefing, a one-hour flight, landing, and return to the starting point.
- Where We Fly: Over the stunning landscapes of Roero and Monferrato. Each flight is unique and unforgettable.You will need to travel with your own vehicle 33 km from Braida Wine Resort to the Flight Field
- Wine Tasting: After the flight, continue your journey through Braida’s wines with the “La Grande Barbera Braida” tasting, paired with a platter of local delicacies at Braida Wine Resort.

Experience the thrill of an authentic adventure through the woods of Rocchetta Tanaro and the surrounding villages, accompanied by an expert truffle hunter (trifolao) and his loyal dog, the tabui, in search of the earth’s precious treasures: White and Black Truffles, depending on the season.
The trifolao will pick you up directly from the Braida Wine Resort. After following him in your car to the forest, you’ll set off on foot for a unique experience. The trifolao will enchant you with ancient stories and myths about truffles, revealing the secret search techniques passed down through generations.
At the end of the search, enjoy a friendly snack in a rustic woodland cabin (casot), accompanied by a glass of Braida wine to toast the fruits of the earth. The truffles found during the search belong to the trifolao, but you’ll have the chance to purchase some on-site if you’d like to take a piece of this experience home with you.
Looking for an extra touch of magic? Opt for a night-time search by moonlight, an even more evocative experience made unforgettable by the soft glow and enchanted atmosphere of the forest. Here too, a well-deserved snack awaits you at the end of the adventure.
The trifolao speaks Italian, but an English translator is available upon request. We recommend suitable clothing and footwear for a walk in the woods.
